About me - Jane Gardner

I have spent my whole career beading and creating beautiful embellishment for bridal and evening wear. I draw inspiration from everything around me, from flowers in the garden to shapes and patterns from everyday objects.

I like to experiment with pearls and other components to get a really beautiful look.

I start by sketching and drawing out designs and ideas, then I make small samples of the beading to get the right mix of beads.

All the work is done in my very old fashioned wooden frame so the base fabric is under tension which makes it easier to work on and produces the best results. I use a tambour hook (which is like a tiny crochet hook) to sew the beads and needle and thread for the crystals and diamantés.

What makes my products special is that I am so passionate about what I do, I bead everything by hand with a technique that is not used much any more and as everything is made to order, any of my items can be customised to make them really special for your special day.
